Martine McCutcheon has won the support of another heartbroken star in the wake of her shock split from husband Jack McManus. The 48-year-old former EastEnders actress was married to singer-songwriter Jack, 40, for 12 years before it was suddenly announced this week that the romance was over. Martine has seemingly been attempting to put a brave face on her predicament by sharing upbeat posts on social media.

And with one of her latest updates, she won support from fellow heartbroken star Alice Evans - who has endured an acrimonious split from her own husband, Ioan Gruffud, 50. On Thursday, Martine shared a photograph of herself smiling in the sunshine with a collection of potted flowers and a happy looking dog in the background. The Love Actually star wrote alongside the snap: "Just had a lovely, sunshine, stroll with Don.

He’s so cute - I can’t take it! #lovehimsomuch #fluffball #lookatthatlittleface #furbaby #adorehim #myfurryfriend." She added a number of emojis including paw prints and hearts. Among the followers reacting to the post was 53-year-old 102 Dalmatians star Alice.

Reaching out to Martine to offer her support, the actress wrote: "Thinking about you. Hope you're doing ok," followed by three red heart emojis. Alice and Ioan were married from 2007 until 2023 and share two children together.

Their divorce has been explosively bitter with accusations of bullying and harassment. Ioan has since moved on to propose to Australian actress Bianca Wallace, 31. Meanwhile, Martine and Jack's split came as a shock to fans when the collapse of their relationship was revealed this week.

Martine shared the news in a social media post that was shared on Wednesday, revealing: "After much thought and consideration, Jack has decided it's best for us to separate after 18 years together and I accept his decision. We are both so very blessed and grateful for our beautiful, 9 year old son Rafferty, whose happiness and welfare, has always been, and will continue to be, our number one priority. "We both of course, still cherish and look forward to being parents together to our wonderful boy for the rest of our lives.

.. Whilst this decision has evolved over a period of time, we are still finding our new way forward as a family and kindly ask for some privacy at this time.

.. Especially for our little boy.

" She continued: "Our love for Rafferty, is something that will never, waver, or change and we obviously want to protect him and help him feel as safe and secure as possible. Many thanks in advance for your respect and support, at this difficult time..

. And I continue to send Jack, all the love, luck and happiness for the next chapter of his." She added: "Rafferty and I (as always,) are rooting for you! Thank you all, for the love and support, now and always.

.. Martine.
