If you had notion that, at 83 years old, Martha Stewart should be slowing down, she's speeding by you in the fast lane. After announcing her she revealed another book project — one that may be her most notable yet. Stewart is writing an autobiography.

“I just signed the contract as we speak," Stewart said in an interview with Hoda and Jenna on Oct. 17. "Random House is publishing it in two years.

” TODAY.com reached out to Stewart's team and Random House for confirmation, but did not hear back. The surprise announcement was shared during an interview co-hosted by Stewart's friend and business partner, Snoop Dogg.

“I call it an autobiography. It’s not exactly a memoir. It’s a fun book and all the wonderful, wonderful things I’ve done in my life and all the stories.

Nothing has told the story yet,” she said. With 100 published cookbooks, a long-running magazine, multiple product lines, and TV empire, Stewart has done it all in the lifestyle space. When asked if her continued business ventures still feel exciting, Stewart paused.

“It still feels like a lot of work and I’m busy all the time,” Stewart told Hoda and Jenna. "I work seven days a week and it’s great because really and truly, I have a lot to teach. And I think by doing the books, by doing the special issue magazines that we’re doing, the Halloween issues, it inspires a lot of people all over the county and all over the world really," she said.
