Sands China and Marriott International have announced the introduction of the Londoner Grand concept to the London Macau casino resort. This marks the advent of the first Marriott Luxury Collection hotel in Macau. Previously known as Sands Cotai Central, the property has undergone a $2 billion transformation to emerge as the Londoner, a British-inspired reimagining that opened its doors in early 2021.
The Londoner Grand will feature 2,405 guestrooms and an impressive array of dining options. According to a statement, the Londoner Grand will introduce five unique concepts to The Londoner Macao’s already diverse dining portfolio. Hampton Court will offer an international and Chinese buffet, while Chelsea Garden will provide an all-day dining experience with a wide selection of local and regional Chinese cuisines, showcased through show kitchens in a garden-themed setting.
The Conservatory will include three distinct areas: a dim sum restaurant and tearoom, a confectionery store, and a British pub bar. Sands China is a subsidiary of Las Vegas Sands. Though the Londoner is relatively new, it has quickly achieved significant acclaim, being featured on the 2023 Condé Nast Traveler Gold List.
