The 39-year-old Sea FM announcer took to Instagram to reveal she was leaving her full-time radio gig to become a 'professional network marketer' for haircare company Monat. Monat, or Monat Global Corp is a US-based company that is headquartered in Doral, Florida .

The company operates on the controversial multi-level marketing business model, which relies on marketing partners who both sell and advertise products online and on social media. Speaking to Daily Mail Australia, Bella said that her decision was based on a desire to spend more time watching her son Finn, two, grow up. 'I think I just realised I wanted to spend the time with him before he goes to school,' she said.



'I was looking to see what would kind of work [I could do] and I came across Monat.' Bella added that she was attracted to the lifestyle and benefits the company promises. 'You can earn a Range Rover, you can earn trips overseas - it's very glamorous.' 'I just thought I'd jump in and give it a go to see where I can take it. And, you know, I'm doing really well, I've got a beautiful team working with me and I just love it.

' Bella said that she didn't believe her change in career was controversial, despite the business model the company employs. 'I don't really think it's controversial,' she said. 'I mean, there's other companies in the past that are in the network marketing sphere that have been controversial, but Monat itself is such an incredible business model, especially for mums and women who want to be at home with their kids,' she said.

' I just think it's a really good thing and an opportunity to have an uncapped salary.' Bella said that while she felt invigorated after the career change, she didn't rule out an eventual return to TV or radio.

'I love it and you know, never say never,' she said. 'I'll probably be back one day because I'm addicted to the media.' Bella, who appeared on season 3 of Married at First Sight, announced her career change alongside a sweet video of her playing with toddler Finn on a bed.

'To be able to tell my baby boy that I no longer have to go to work anymore. We don't have to be up at 5.30am, rush out the door to get to kindy drop off, then sit in 45 mins traffic to get to work and miss him all day,' she wrote in the heartfelt post.

Before encouraging her fans to jump on board the Monat bandwagon she continued saying that she wants to help give mums across the country the chance to work and spend more time at home with the kids.

'I know why I've been called to do this now, so I can help all the mummas be at home with their toddlers, to enjoy the best days of our lives watching our babies grow,' Bella said. 'Whatever you're doing can wait, this time with our babies. Time goes by and every minute they grow more and more.

' Bella concluded by saying that having children had forced her to re-assess her priorities in life. 'When I became a mama my values changed and career went from number one with family replacing it,' she said. Bella said that she didn't believe her change in career was controversial, despite the business model the company employs Another post announcing Bella's departure from the airwaves revealed that she was 'terrified' at the prospect of a career change.

'I'm scared. I'm excited. I'm happy.

I'm sad,' she wrote. 'I'm terrified but most of all I know I'm doing the right thing for myself and my family.' The post was met with a flurry of comments from fans with many commenting with shock over the announcement.

'Noooooo Bella!! But proud of you,' one fan wrote. 'You will just have to continue sending me voice messages so I can fill the void of not hearing your voice on air!' Anrother chimed in with a similar: 'You will be so missed listening to on air Bella. I loved hearing you voice when I was in the car it was like a breath of fresh air when you were on air.

'The radio station have really lost another good host that's 3 this year now what a shame. Can't wait to see your next chapter babe .'
