The Pulaski County Maroons advanced on to the quarterfinals of the KHSAA Class 5A Playoffs on Friday in dominating fashion once again as they raced out to a 42-0 lead over Madison Southern to activate the running clock for the entirety of the second half, as they breezed by the Eagles in a 49-14 victory. Pulaski opened the scoring in the first on a 42-yard reception from Harris Denmyer, before Kasen Brock and Ethan Idlewine both scored on rushing attempts, and Boone Godby added a reception touchdown as the Maroons raced out to a 28-0 lead after one quarter of action. Brock scored for the second time to activate the running clock in the second quarter, before Idlewine received a long pass from Zak Anderson to put Pulaski up 42-0 at the half.

Madison Southern was able to score twice in the second half on long passes, with Kaden Carrier adding another score for Pulaski in the fourth, as the Maroons cruised to the 49-14 win. Pulaski improves to 8-4 with the win and will be on the road next week in the regional championship, where they will likely take on Highlands.
