In the interview, Zuckerberg called Apple a "perfectionist" that waits to develop their technology. Meta, on the other hand, traverses a different path. According to the CEO, Meta has a culture that focuses more on getting their products out in the market and getting them to users, and then later awaiting their feedback.



Zuckerberg said that his company does not wait for the people to give "great positive accolades" first when releasing new technology. The tech billionaire also said that in their strategy, Meta is looking to learn more from their market to be able to deliver next releases instead of "missing" time and waiting for praises. Meta is the 'Opposite' of Apple, Says Zuck Furthermore, in the interview that Zuckerberg believes Meta is the "opposite of Apple" in many ways, further commenting on their product strategy.

The CEO pointed out that Apple takes a long time before releasing a new product as it puts in massive work and polishes its tech before making it available. The Meta owner noted that this kind of culture may work for Apple, but he does not share the same sentiments. The Big Tech Rivalry Between Apple and Meta Among the biggest players in Silicon Valley are Apple and Meta, with both companies focusing initially on different things.

In recent years however, these companies have clashed multiple times. One of the most recent conflicts between both companies involves wearable technology. This took place when Apple unveiled the luxurious Vision Pro, but Meta beat them to the punch by announcing the Quest 3 earlier.

It was also after the WWDC 2023 Vision Pro announcement that reports about Mark Zuckerberg addressing his employees about its latest competitor surfaced online. Zuckberg was quoted to have said that he with Apple's latest headset despite it featuring massive specs compared to its Quest 3. The Meta CEO also said that Apple's innovative work on the device is no longer new in the industry, further claiming that his Quest team already explored some aspects the Cupertino-giant tech giant unveiled.
