June 25, 1948—Aug. 9, 2024 Marilyn June Kepner was called by God to Heaven on August 9, 2024. Marilyn (some of us called her Mair) was born to Harold and Frances Ochsner on June 25, 1948.

She went to school in Twin Falls and graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1966. Marilyn was from a large family of 12 kids. Teachers were often heard to say, “Oh, another Ochsner in my class!” Marilyn loved to play softball, volleyball and bowling.



She especially enjoyed being able to coach her two daughters in softball. She bowled on leagues in Boise and Twin Falls for most of her life. Marilyn was able to attend the National Women’s Bowling Championship in Florida, twice.

She appreciated this opportunity to be on a team made up of her daughters and sisters. Marilyn also loved attending school and sporting events for her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Marilyn was married to Jerry Kepner on May 25, 1966, just one month before her 18th birthday.

Together, they had four beautiful children and remained soulmates for 58 wonderful years. Marilyn is survived by her husband, Jerry Kepner; children: Brandy (Joel) Climer, Chad (Susan) Kepner and Nicole Kepner; grandchildren: Christopher Kepner, Gaige Kepner, Beth Kepner, Charlee Climer and Evie Kepner; sisters: Donna Schultz, Sandra Borlace, Connie Spisak, Sheila Federico and Julie Brady; as well as her beloved wiener dog, Lady Bug. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; Harold and Frances Ochsner, her first-born son, Jerry Kepner, Jr.

, brothers: Larry Ochsner, Terry Ochsner and James Ochsner, sisters: Kay Larison, Eleanor Boger and Nancy Lee. There will be a funeral service honoring Marilyn on Monday, August 19, 2024, starting at 11:00 a.m.

, held at White-Reynolds Funeral Chapel, 2466 Addison Ave. E., Twin Falls, ID.

Marilyn will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park, immediately following the service. Family and friends are welcome to join the family of Marilyn, following the graveside service for a reception held at Norms Café Catering Room, 803 Main Ave. N.
