Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera explained why they offer special ticket prices for students and teachers for her movie Balota . The movie is Marian’s Cinemalay film for which she earned the Best Actress trophy. Balota is having its cinema release.
In previous interviews, the Kapuso actress has been expressing how proud she is of this movie. She shared that she experienced a lot of firsts in doing this film. Marian had to deglamorize with no makeup at all.
The actress also chose not to have a stunt double in doing difficult scenes. This was the reason why she had bruises after filming. In a social media post, Marian Rivera announced that they are offering special ticket prices for teachers and students.
The actress explained in a social media post that she shared on October 20 why they have this offer. She said that people have different purposes in doing movies. “ May pelikula na ang habol ay kumita ng hundreds of millions.
Merong personal na pelikula. May pelikula na experimental. May pelikula na naglalayong makatulong sa lipunan,” she said.
With their movie Balota , Marian said that they intended to help society. They believe that teachers and students have great parts in molding the future of the country. Marian also pointed out that it was obvious on the faces of teachers who watched the film that they felt inspired and they could see themselves in her character Teacher Emmy .
