Birth: 1943 Death: 2024 Margitta Dorothea Lübke OBITUARY Margitta Dorothea Lbke, 81, passed away on her 55th wedding anniversary. She is survived by her devoted husband, Walter, their daughters Mona, Linda, and Gina, sons-in-law Christian and Philip, and five grandchildren: Sydney (15), Maximilian (11), Natalia (7), Zachariah (5) and Ezekiel (1).Born in K”nigsberg, East Prussia, Margitta and her parents, Erich and Magdalena Such, fled to Germany as refugees.

They settled in Lengerich, where she trained as a secretary. In 1967, Margitta met Walter Lbke, and they married in 1969 before moving to Fullerton. Together, they built a life and a business, W.



L. Tools, which Walter founded in 1973 and still thrives today, 51 years later!Despite a battle with cancer for over half of her life, Margitta faced her challenges with remarkable grace, a caring spirit and an enduring sense of humor. Her radiant smile was a source of light to those around her.

Margitta’s dedication extended beyond her work at W.L. Tools, where she often worked alongside Walter, seven days a week.

She was a pillar of support for her family, actively involved in her daughters’ schooling and extracurricular activities, and a vibrant member of the German community at the Phoenix Club.Margitta and Walter enjoyed traveling and treasured time spent with their children and grandchildren. Her passing was marked by a beautiful funeral service led by Pastor Richard Martyn on August 14 at Loma Vista Memorial Park.

This was followed by a heartfelt celebration of life at the Phoenix Club, attended by many friends and family. The gathering was a tribute to Margitta’s life, filled with love, memories, and the support of those who knew her best.Margitta Dorothea Lbke will be remembered for her unwavering devotion to her family, her strength, and her ability to brighten any room with her presence.
