Jack Taylor took to TikTok to share the ordeal, explaining he got on a train earlier than the one he had purchased a ticket for and hoped there would be no issues. However, he soon learned this was a mistake. He captioned the video: "Do NOT get ANY earlier train.



I HAD A TICKET. Felt like a criminal." In the comments, he revealed he'd paid £100 for a ticket to London ticket.

He wrote overtop of the video: "POV: Watching me get fined for getting an earlier train." The clip starts with the ticket inspector asking for what sounds like £54.50.

Jack then repeats: "Fifty pounds?" only for the inspector to go: "£154 sir." Next, the inspector lays out his choices: either hop off at Darlington and pay just for that leg of the journey or cough up the full £154 plea.
