Tickets are still available for Manchester Oktoberfest 2024 - which opens tomorrow. The German-inspired beer festival is landing at Sackville Street car park from Thursday until Saturday. Attractions will include traditional German food, music, and of course lots of beer - in a 20,000-litre tanker brought from Bavaria.
Organiser Carsten Raun said: “There is really a common thing between Brits and Germans - their love of beer and a good time. "The target is to bring the best of German culture to Manchester.” Oktoberfest (Image: World Wide Festival UK Ltd) Oktoberfest is expecting 4-5,000 people across four sessions in Albert Square.
The lederhosen-wearing, beer-swilling festivities will take place from 4pm-11pm on Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday afternoon from 11am-4.30pm and Saturday evening from 5.30-11pm.
Manchester Oktoberfest launched in 2013 in Albert Square, while the original Munich Oktoberfest is more than 200 years old. General admission tickets range from £10-15, but a £65 VIP package will get you a seat in front of the band and a range of traditional German food and drinks.
