During the event, an Eras Tour-themed guitar that was signed by Taylor Swift was put up for auction.

An unidentified elderly man purchased the guitar for $4000 before taking a hammer to it almost immediately, hitting it several times before seemingly turning to smash the instrument on the ground before being stopped by the auction’s host. TMZ has since seemingly confirmed with the event that the Swift-signed guitar had been donated to the auction before Swift’s endorsement of Harris, and that the guitar was not intended to be destroyed. The singer last month announced her endorsement for Vice President K.
