A man allegedly tied his ex-girlfriend to a wheelchair and made her watch him dig her grave before murdering her. Tony Charboneau ‘punched and stomped’ Amy Hogue, 43, after a verbal argument on June 20, according to probable cause statements with the Associate Circuit Court of Washington County. Brandi Luffy admitted to investigators that she helped Charboneau put Hogue in a wheelchair and tie her to it with ratchet straps.

Luffy said she and Charboneau moved Hogue to the woods where he shot her ‘in the head, then buried her’, according to a prosecutor. Charboneau ‘spent the rest of the day burying her in the grave, covering her with large rocks and tree limbs’, states he release obtained by The Independent. Meanwhile, Luffy remained inside a vehicle to keep a watch out as Charboneau ‘shot and buried the victim’.

He also destroyed Hogue’s purse and the ratchet straps and a tarp used in the criminal act.
