A man died after a medical incident which triggered a large emergency services response. Emergency services were called to the incident at an address in Church Road, Hove, at about 1.30pm on Thursday, January 2.

Multiple police cars and fire engines attended the scene and the Second Avenue bus stop was cordoned off. A Sussex Police spokesman said a man aged 54 was given medical treatment but was later declared dead. He said there were no suspicious circumstances and his next of kin have been informed.



“Our thoughts are with them at this difficult time,” the force spokesman said. “A report will be prepared for HM Coroner.”.
