A man who was bitten by a police dog after damaging more than a dozen cars is due to be sentenced in the new year. A number of cars were vandalised and had their windows smashed in the Nyewood Lane in Bognor in the early hours of the morning on December 20. Police attended the scene and arrested Inde Sneddon, 24, of no fixed address.
He was bitten by a police dog as he resisted arrest and was later charged in relation to the incident. He was treated in hospital for his injuries. He smashed the windows of numerous cars (Image: Sussex News and Pictures) When appearing before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on December 23, he pleaded guilty to 14 counts of criminal damage, resisting arrest, causing unnecessary suffering to a protected animal (a police dog), theft from a motor vehicle, possession of an offensive weapon, threats to kills, a public order offence and shoplifting.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Portsmouth Crown Court for sentencing on January 20.
