Saturday, August 24, 2024 Qatar Airways has announced a new interline partnership with Maldivian, the national carrier of the Maldives, offering passengers the convenience of booking both Qatar Airways and Maldivian flights directly through the Qatar Airways website. This partnership allows travelers to plan their holidays to the Maldives’ stunning islands with ease, combining their Qatar Airways and Maldivian flights into a single booking. Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, passengers will be seamlessly guided to the domestic terminal for their onward Maldivian flight.

Thierry Antinori, Qatar Airways’ Chief Commercial Officer, commented on the partnership: “We are constantly expanding our services to offer our passengers innovative and appealing travel experiences. With this latest interline agreement with Maldivian, we are excited to provide a smooth and enjoyable start to our passengers’ holidays, along with a range of new travel benefits. The option to book a single ticket that includes both Qatar Airways’ flight to Male and the connecting Maldivian flight to their final destination is something we’re proud to offer.

Travelers will now have access to 17 domestic destinations across the Maldives, including: Maldivian, the leading domestic carrier in the Maldives, also serves nearby international destinations such as Bangladesh, India, and Sri Lanka. The airline operates a fleet that includes both seaplanes and wheelbase aircraft, ensuring comprehensive coverage of the region..
