Monday, August 19, 2024 The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation(MMPRC) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Fliggy, China’s leading online travel platform under the Alibaba group, to enhance the Maldives’ visibility and appeal in the Chinese market. The agreement was signed by MMPRC’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Shiuree, and Fliggy’s Vice President, Mr.

Tong Teng, during a ceremony at Villa Nautica on August 18, 2024. This strategic partnership, in collaboration with Villa Resorts, aims to promote and solidify the Maldives’ status as a top-tier destination for Chinese travelers. “I want to express my deepest gratitude to Fliggy for their partnership and to all our stakeholders here for their support.
