Sunday, August 18, 2024 The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives) and Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance their collaboration in promoting equitable tourism development. The agreement was officially signed on the morning of August 15, 2024, at the MMPRC Headquarters by Mr. Ibrahim Shiuree, MMPRC’s Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director (CEO and MD), and Mr.

Ibrahim Iyas, Managing Director of Maldivian. This strategic partnership aims to leverage the strengths of both organizations to develop innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives that will attract visitors from around the world. The joint efforts will focus on business-to-consumer marketing, including branded advertisements, promotional activities, and global campaigns.
