Saturday, November 30, 2024 The “World of Opportunities: Russia-ASEAN” International Business Forum, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from November 26 to 27, concluded successfully with over 350 participants from 24 countries. This prestigious event brought together political, business, and academic leaders, as well as media professionals, experts, and influential figures to explore new opportunities for collaboration between Russia and ASEAN nations. Organized by the Roscongress Foundation, the Forum marked a significant milestone as the first major initiative under the newly launched Roscongress International brand.
The key plenary session, titled “Russia and ASEAN: Towards a New Stage of Trade and Economic Cooperation,” featured prominent speakers from both Russia and ASEAN countries. Keynote addresses were delivered by Daniyar Akkaziev, Executive Director of the Russia–ASEAN Business Council; Airat Khairullin, Minister of Digital Development of Public Administration, Information Technology and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan; and Nazir Razak, Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council, Malaysia. Other distinguished speakers included Alexey Gruzdev, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation; Oudet Suwannawong, President of the Lao Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Chairman of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council; Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Management Board and Director of the Roscongress Foundation; and Abu Bakar Y.
