Wednesday, October 2, 2024 Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) is pleased to announce the appointment of Sagar Sanjay Dighe as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of MAG Catering Operations (MCAT), effective November 1, 2024. In this key role, Sagar will report directly to Mohd Nadziruddin Mohd Basri, CEO of Aviation Services at MAG. He will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction and managing the operations of MCAT, ensuring its growth as the Group enhances its non-airline business portfolios.
Sagar brings a wealth of experience in leadership roles spanning management, finance, and operations, particularly in the aviation, food solutions, and hospitality sectors. Most recently, he served as the CEO and Director of SATS Food India (SFSI), where he led impactful growth initiatives, including the establishment of a state-of-the-art frozen food production facility. With over a decade of experience at SATS Ltd in India, Sagar is known for his strategic vision and successful execution, which have resulted in increased market share and profitability.
His leadership in relaunching the Taj SATS brand in aviation catering and expanding into the non-aviation food sector showcases his ability to innovate and enhance market presence.
