Reports indicate that the actor was intoxicated and behaving uncontrollably in a public place. A video circulating online shows Vinayakan shirtless, sitting on the airport floor, and shouting at staff members. The actor had travelled from Kochi to Hyderabad and was en route to Goa.
As the situation escalated, the CISF security team detained him, and he was later handed over to the local airport police. “A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway,” said Balraj, CI of the Airport Police Station. This incident is not Vinayakan’s first encounter with trouble.
In October 2023, he was arrested for creating a disturbance at a police station in Ernakulam, Kerala. He was questioned following complaints about his disruptive behaviour at his apartment complex but was released on bail. In July of the previous year, the actor was again booked by the police for his controversial remarks regarding the death of former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.
