Avoid slathering on a foundation as this will make you look dull and draw attention to any imperfections.

“In addition, the product often contains SPF and has hydrating formulations that keep the skin looking fresh and dewy. “To enhance a youthful look it is key to hide any imperfections and lift any dark circles.” Heavy products can make the skin appear older by highlighting imperfections rather than smoothing them out.

“Light textured products are the way to go and avoid slathering on a foundation as this will make you look dull and draw attention to any imperfections,” she said. Kay previously shared tips for correcting eye makeup application. She said to avoid putting eyeliner underneath the eye as it can make them look smaller.
