Trains in and out of a major London station are facing delays and cancellations this morning. Engineering works between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon have overrun, blocking some lines between the two stations. This is affecting South Western Railway services and trains are facing cancellations or delays while the disruption is ongoing.

It’s expected this will cause issues until 9am, bad news for commuters hoping to get around London during rush hour this morning. This is due to a signal failure at Chalfont & Latimer.



And there are also no trains running between Amersham and Harrow-on-the-Hill in west London because of a signal fault. That’s impacting Chiltern Railways services to and from Marylebone, and again is set to last until about 9am. There are also issues on the railway in Lincolnshire this morning, after a road accident in the Hubberts Bridge area has blocked lines between Sleaford and Boston.

East Midlands Railway trains running between these stations will be cancelled or revised. This is expected to last until about 9.30am.
