Now, in a recent conversation, the Sadak 2 director opened up about his indifference towards trolls on the internet.



During a conversation with Zoom, Mahesh Bhatt was asked about why did he always keeps such and not react to trolling that he and his children are subjected to at times. Replying to the question, Mahesh said, that silence comes from a place of strength and not weakness. He continued and said, “There is a line by Lord Krishna, ‘Inaction is action.

’ When I chose not to act, that was action. So, the trolls out there or my adversaries knew that I came from strength, and did not come from cowardice. I was not a petrified man.

” Adding more, the veteran director said that he was not interested in getting consumed by a “manufactured narrative” and he had nothing to “protect.” He expressed his conviction, saying that his kids are capable of taking care of themselves in the same way that he did. But he would be there for them like a “firewall” if they needed him, and one would have to confront him before his children.

“So, my silence is out of choice, not some kind of timidity, fear of consequences. What consequences? The virtual world seems to become more valuable than the real world. I don’t subscribe to that”, he said.
