Madonna’s son David Banda clarified he is “good” after claiming he had been “scavenging” for food since moving out of his mom’s luxurious Upper East Side apartment. “I am very happy in my life and I am not living out on the streets, starving!” the 18-year-old wrote on his Instagram Story Sunday. “Please stop worrying everything is good.

” Banda also clarified that the “Material Girl” singer, 65, always has been “very supportive” of him and his decisions, which include moving to the Bronx with his girlfriend and making money by teaching guitar lessons. The teen made headlines over the weekend after telling his 53,000 Instagram followers that he was struggling to make ends meet on his own. “It’s lovely to experience it being nine o’clock at night, me being hungry and realizing that I don’t have enough money to get food and scavenging,” he said on Instagram Live.

“It’s fun to be young.” Banda also shared that he was living with his girlfriend, model Maria Atuesta, in the outer borough. “I love it.

I’m not on my own. ..

. But I love it,” he added. Banda is one of Madonna’s six kids — all of whom were by her side during her near-fatal bacterial infection that resulted in the “Vogue” singer being intubated in the ICU in June 2023.

Upon her release, Madonna’s sons Banda and Rocco Ritchie were seen coming and going from her luxe pad as she recovered. She later told her fans she was “grateful to be alive” and promised to reschedule her “Celebration” tour, which kicked off six months later in December. Unfortunately, the tour was plagued with complaints of its shows’s heavily delayed start times , prompting some fans to file a lawsuit against the “Holiday” performer.

Madonna has requested for the suit to be dismissed, claiming fans having to “get up early to go to work” the following morning does not constitute legal “injury.”.
