Over 29 million visitors arrived in Macao between January and October 2024, marking a year-on-year increase of 28.

This strategy, which focuses on diversifying Macao’s tourism offerings, has played a pivotal role in the city’s tourism recovery. Macao recorded an average of 95,000 daily visitors between January and October 2024, with peak days seeing over 110,000 arrivals. The length of stay for both overnight and hotel guests has exceeded pre-pandemic levels, further validating the city’s success in rebuilding its tourism sector.
