Even though part of its name sounds like a manufacturing site, Mactory Gourmet Mac N Cheese is artisanal in its preparation of what is best described as comfort food. True to its name, Mactory creates an array of toppings — from seafood to steak, from chili to veggies — for its above-average macaroni and cheese. We ordered online with a selected pickup time.
We were surprised when we arrived at the number of others waiting for takeout. Although we did have to wait for our order, it was reassuring to know it hadn’t been sitting around under a heat lamp. Food was packaged in aluminum containers with a plastic container of extra sauce that leaked on the way home.
