A recently opened hotel opposite Trent Bridge Cricket Ground has gone on the market for more than £2 million. The Talbot House Aparthotel contains 18 studio apartments, each equipped with a kitchen, king-sized bed and luxury shower room. The current management first started operating from the hotel in June 2022, with the previous iteration of the hotel having stopped business after eight years.

Situated across the road from the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, the Bridgford Road property is being advertised with offers in excess of £2,250,000. The property is currently let on a 10-year lease with no breaks to Birchover Residences Ltd. Whoever purchases the property will retain that lease, meaning they will receive rent of £172,800 for the first five years and £194,400 for the last five years.

Describing the property, NG Chartered Surveyors say: "The Talbot House Aparthotel is perfectly situated across the road from the world famous Trent Bridge Cricket Ground, and only a short walk to West Bridgford's vibrant Central Avenue, where a wide range of local bars, restaurants and takeaways are all within easy reach of the building." Birchover Residences operate a collection of luxury apartment-hotels across Derby and Nottingham - with around 50 apartments in total. The site is being marketed on a freehold basis with the benefit of the occupational lease.
