The new season of Married At First Sight is airing on Channel 4 and viewers are already reeling at the drama. Before the sparks fly between the new couples, the new reality TV stars have to get married without meeting beforehand. The Elvetham Hotel in Hook, just a 30-minute drive from Basingstoke, hosted the weddings of Kristina and Kieran, Eve and Charlie, Sacha and Ross, and Richelle and Orson.
A spokesperson from the hotel said: ""We are thrilled to host the filming of Married At First Sight UK 2024 at The Elvetham Hotel for the second year running. With its stunning surroundings, this historic venue provides the perfect backdrop for such a unique and romantic journey. "We are excited to be part of a show that celebrates love and connection, and we enjoyed welcoming the cast, crew, and viewers to experience the beauty of The Elvetham - an ideal setting for anyone dreaming of their own unforgettable wedding day.
" A popular wedding venue in Hampshire, the luxurious hotel offers elegant rooms, a wedding breakfast, an evening reception and gorgeous gardens for guests to enjoy. It is rich with history, according to the hotel's website, as it is where King Henry VIII fell in love with Jane Seymour and where Queen Elizabeth I was treated to a spectacular four days of festivities known as the Elvetham Entertainment. The hotel has won awards for its wedding offerings, in 2023 it was named the Regional South Central Historic Wedding Venue of the Year at the Wedding Industry Awards.
