Parachute has closed its Country Club Plaza store. The luxury home goods brand at 333 W. 47th St.
The location was previously White House Black Market, and before that The Sharper Image. The store’s windows have been papered over since last week, and the Kansas City location is . Calls and emails to the company were not returned.
Representatives for the Country Club Plaza did not respond to a request for comment. Parachute started in 2014 as a direct-to-consumer company, selling premium quality sheets, towels, robes, rugs and more online. It has since opened about 20 brick-and-mortar shops in the U.
