According to , the first plane to feature the new cabin interior will be the airline’s Boeing 777s in a 1-2-1 layout, which will be retrofitted for a rollout next year. The airline's new A350s will feature the product once they arrive in the fleet. By the end of 2026, the carrier expects to roll it out across 50% of its fleet - meaning it will have to work fast to meet its deadline.

Per , the airline has a fleet of more than 400 aircraft. The airline has long required a cabin refresh for its largely inconsistent business class product on its planes. As it continues its ambition to compete against rivals in the nearby Middle East, the new product will help cement customer loyalty and attract higher-yielding passengers.

Separately, the carrier has also announced that it plans to introduce free WiFi connectivity for all passengers on its fleet as of the end of 2025. Turkish Airlines says the new inflight offering will provide “free, unlimited, uninterrupted and fast” connectivity. This means the airline will be retrofitting its fleet “with the latest in-flight connectivity (IFC) technologies and equip the new aircraft with the most efficient IFC technologies available.

” With the decision to offer free wifi to all passengers and upgrade its overall product, the carrier is collaborating with local suppliers to push its IFC technology further. In a statement, the airline said that it had signed an agreement with two companies. “In this regard, Turkish Airlines has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TCI Aircraft Interiors, a certified aviation products provider, and Turksat, a regional leader in satellite technologies.

The signing of the MoU highlights Turkish Airlines’ is considering leveraging national capacity and the carrier helps support Turkish companies in establishing a presence in the IFC sector.” Turkish Airlines says that most of its fleet already features Wi-Fi connectivity and adds that these upgrades will only further its overall product offering. With this announcement, the Turkish flag carrier is not only improving its business class product but is also taking steps to ensure all passengers continue to see service improvements over the years to come.
