The thought of losing your luggage can instil fear in the most seasoned of travellers . But according to a luggage expert there is something you can do to make sure you aren't caught too off guard if it happens to you. It all comes down to how you pack, Athan Didaskalou, co-founder of July, reveals to 9Travel.

"Then you'll stress less if the airline loses your luggage (but fingers crossed that doesn't happen)." "My go-to advice is to wear your bulkiest items, such as heavy boots and a large coat, on the plane to free up room in your luggage," he adds. Use packing cells to keep your suitcase organised and make repacking easier, Athan also advises. And think about what kind of clothing you're going to wear.
