LUCY Fallon has revealed her Coronation Street future after announcing she's pregnant with her second baby. The Bethany Platt actress, 28, has been bombarded by fans asking to know if she'll be leaving the soap. Addressing the clamour over her acting career, Lucy took to Instagram to share a picture from her dressing room and wrote: "Lots of Corrie related Q's.

"I won't be away for toooo long and I am returning after I pop the baby out xx." It'll be welcome news to her legion of fans who were delighted to welcome her back to the soap last year after a three year absence. The actress, 28, shared her happy baby news yesterday in the form of an adorable video featuring her partner Ryan Ledson and their son Sonny Jude, one.

Lucy told her shocked fans: “Half way there.” Her famous pals rushed to comment on it, with Amy Walsh writing: “Awwww congratulations beautiful.” Tanisha Gorey remarked: “The best news EVER.

” While Helen Flanagan told her: “Love you Lucy xxx” Lucy met Ryan through friends back in 2017. He is a British professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Preston North End . Earlier this year she appeared on reality series Drama Queens, alongside fellow Corrie stars Brooke Vincent and Ellie Leach .

She bravely revealed that before welcoming their son, she and Ryan, 26, tragically experienced a miscarriage when they first got together. Speaking about her first scan, she said: “I didn’t expect anything to be wrong. "That was one of the most difficult things me and Ryan have ever had to go through, and I think I really struggled with it after, because it felt like everybody sort of moved on.

"Everyone else’s lives sort of went back to normal, and I felt like I couldn’t.” Lucy previously told Ryan that she was keen to have a big family and would want at least three kids, but the realities of motherhood have made her have a rethink. In an interview with The Sun on Sunday's Fabulous magazine just last month, she said: “I’ve changed my mind now.

I couldn’t do it! My sister Laura has three – all boys, too. Maybe just one more. “I do like being a young mum.

I feel like I’m still 17, then I remind myself: ‘You are 29 this year!’ Having children changes things.”.
