On Sunday, Peacock posted a TikTok in anticipation of the reunion. It was captioned: "Caution: rizz overload" and featured the guys of making faces at the camera and trying to look sexy. In the background was a sped-up version of Confidence by Ocean Alley.
It cut from guy to guy recording themselves backstage. Kenny then reposted the video later but with a few differences. Out of all the men featured in the video, he only included himself, Miguel, and Kordell's sections.
Right before the reunion, someone found the video and pointed it out for all of X, formally known as Twitter, to see. "Peacock posted a [TikTok] with all the guys and Kenny reposted it but cut everyone out the tiktok but him, Miguel, and Kordell im crying," a user wrote. Fans of the show were quick to notice the shade.
"This is savage omg," one person commented. "He said PPGM only," another said, referencing how three of the girls - JaNa, Leah, and Serena - were known as PPG (the Power Puff Girls) and only the men they were in relationships with were in the shortened TikTok. A third fan wrote: "He's messy.
" It's unclear why Kenny might have a problem with the other men - if there is any problem. The reunion drama focused more on other couples and ex-couples, including Kendall and Nicole. The two are still together but on the rocks.
Nicole was upset that Kendall lied to her, telling her that a video that leaked online was from years ago when it was really filmed in the hotel in Fiji. The two went back and forth with Nicole mad at Kendall lying while the other Islanders in attendance seemed to side with Kendall, leaving Nicole sobbing on stage and off.
