star Kendall Washington was only known for being a smooth-talking contestant on the reality dating competition until the unthinkable happened to him over the weekend. On Sunday, the night of the Season 6 finale, explicit videos of , 27, were leaked. The revealing videos of the TV personality that have since gone viral on Reddit and X, , show Kendall behaving very sexually.
Wasting no time to clear the air, Kendall took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to explain how his personal videos got published online without his consent. “What a way to get my phone back y’all,” Kendall revealed, seemingly joking about the private content. “I just want to address the content that came out from my past.
That was something I shared to someone in confidence and trust. It’s unfortunate that it’s no longer private but it is what it is.” He then continued, thanking people “for the calls/texts to support me during this time.
” Additionally, he showed appreciation for his time on Love Island USA. Kendall’s sister Taylor also spoke out on his invasion of privacy on Instagram. Love Island USA fans are familiar with Taylor from when she appeared on the Peacock program to support Kendall.
“I do not have the capacity to respond to everyone individually but I appreciate everyone reaching out concerned about Kendall’s mental health. I am too,” she wrote in her Instagram Stories. Taylor went on to call out Love Island USA, insisting that the show offered her sibling some “mental health resources” to help him cope with the potentially earth-shattering incident.
“I really hope y’all have serious mental health resources in place for him so he doesn’t come back from the high of this experience to seeing he’s been unfairly exposed on top of general reality TV backlash,” Taylor further wrote, tagging the official Love Island USA Instagram account. “If y’all have a history of suicide from people being on your show. I’d really hope you all get a handle on this expeditiously.
” She said that she reached out to a couple of contacts on the show, but hopes “I hear back from someone.” She ended her post with: “Private lives should remain private. The weight of this [is] too much for anyone and my heart aches for him immensely.
” In the next Story slide that she shared, there was a link to report the content on the platform. Original islander Kendall lasted all the way to the show’s Season 6 finale, following his recoupling Nicole Jacky earlier in the show. Kendall and Nicole came in fourth, losing to this year’s winners Kordell Beckham and Serena Page.
