Our Factor 50 email brings all the goss direct to your inbox We have more newsletters Sam Gowland has furiously hit back on social media after he was mocked by trolls for his "horrendous" new £6,000 veneers. The 2017 Love Island star, 29, took to social media with an angry rant after trolls branded his new teeth as "unnatural, plastic and like dentures." The star, who rose to fame on hit MTV reality show Geordie Shore, took to TikTok to express his frustration with the constant negative comments regarding his teeth.

He defended his decision, saying that he sought out the best professionals for the procedure. He said in a video: "I am starting to get p**sed off now - every time I do a TikTok or video people are commenting saying that I have the worst teeth they've ever seen or look like a packet of chewing gum. They look like a gum shield.

They look like piano keys. The teeth cost £6,000 to get done. There's a reason they cost £6,000.

The reason they cost £6,000 is because I went to the best people in the world to get them done. I went to Turkey because that's where the best veneers are, look at them!" He continued with his tirade, getting more worked up as he went along. He said: ""They are so white.

They've got the perfect sized gap in between the shape." The reality star admitted that he couldn't understand how people don't like his teeth and insisted that strangers even stop him to ask him about where he had the cosmetic work done. He argued that he "went to the best people in the world" as he gushed about his "perfect" smile.

He continued: "How can you say that they do not look good, they are perfect and people keep stopping me saying where did you get them they look so natural. It's a natural look so will people please stop saying they look bad! What's wrong with people!" Sam first showed off his new pearly whites in November 2023. That was his attempt at getting his veneers "toned down" after followers mocked them for being "the worst teeth they'd ever seen".

It also wasn't the first time he'd had cosmetic surgery after undergoing a beard transplant last year. But social media users weren't convinced as they hit back under the most recent post. One wrote: "Sam.

. name me ONE PERSON that has NATURAL TEETH..

.. That look like that.

Just one! You can't. You may have spent a lot of money, but they don't look natural buddy." Another added: "Erm no Sam, you wasted £6000.

.. They look like dentures.

.. ask anyone in an old people's home.

. but good teeth or not..

your doing well for your self .." While a third agreed, writing: "6k and they look like they are a filter.

Not natural at all. But they do look like plastic and they look like one full strip. the best veneers are ones that look like actual teeth and look more natural.

We're all entitled to our opinions!" It comes after earlier this year Sam insisted he hadn't cooked himself a meal for more than three years after bragging he was worth millions . His reality history has put him onto the path to success and he is currently living in Bali, Indonesia, where he works in property and trading. Taking to Instagram back in March, he bragged: "Random fact of the day - I've not cooked a meal since leaving my old home in Newcastle in 2021 (Cool or bit weird I can't work out).
