Season 7 of Netflix’s reality dating series, which dropped its first six episodes on Wednesday, looks much like seasons past: A group of singles meet potential partners in adjoined rooms — called pods — in hopes that they might fall in love without the distraction of physical appearance.

But there is one notable difference in the Washington D.C.-set Season 7 — contestants are being transparent about their political ideologies.



From Stephen talking about voting for Trump in the 2016 election, to Marissa and Ramses discussing gender roles, the series is clearly leaning into its setting. And for once, we’re seeing conversations that more closely resemble what might happen on a date in the real world. But those conversations also allow for us viewers to cast clearer judgements on our contestants — and judge, we will! Below, we’re breaking down every Season 7 couple and offering our own predictions for how they might end up.

This woman hates this man. We can see it in her eyes every time he opens his mouth during their honeymoon. At one point, Monica even tells Stephen to stop talking — he yaps too much, she says! And if that’s already wearing on Monica, it’s only a matter of time before Stephen’s desperate-to-please personality becomes overbearing.
