Love Is Blind UK’s Bobby and Jasmine are one of the Netflix show’s biggest success stories, with the pair deciding to tie the knot at the end of season 1. Speaking exclusively to The Mirror and other Reach publications, the couple opened up about their decision to get married and how their relationship is going one year later. While Jasmine’s mother might have been reluctant to accept Bobby on their first meeting, the pair have since confirmed that things have never been better between themselves and their wider families.
Things are going so well, in fact, that the newlyweds are planning to start a family of their own very soon. Asked if they had any big plans coming up, Bobby revealed: “Well, we want to go to the Philippines, that’s on the list. Going to see Jasmine’s family.
“Because now, we’re also working on starting our own family. That’s something on the list we’ve been working on as we speak. Pretty big.
” Bobby also went on to reveal their other travel plans, including their upcoming trip to Jamaica. “We’ve got our first-year anniversary coming up, too,” Jasmine revealed excitedly. Confirming their anniversary falls on September 25, Bobby continued: “We want to plan on getting away but I’m going to surprise her with something I think.
” Elsewhere in the interview, Bobby and Jasmine also confirmed that they had kept up a really strong friendship with fellow married couple Nicole and Benaiah. Asked who they keep in touch with from the show, Jasmine said: “Benaiah and Nicole, 1000%. They’re always round our house, we’re always going to bars and having nice meals.
“I feel like it's been nice to know a couple that has gone through the same things that we have and that is going through the wave of marriage, so to speak. “We really rely on both of them, to be honest. They’re a really great couple.
