LOVE Is Blind couple Steven and Sabrina left viewers devastated after revealing their surprise split at the reunion. Gym owner Steven, 37 and marketing director Sabrina, 35, got engaged after hitting it off while in the pods. With Sabrina living in Belfast and Steven residing in London, they had planned to split their time between the two cities.
Speaking at the reunion, presenter Emma Willis said: "Sabrina and Steven, it's so sad to see you sitting apart. "Right from the off, hopefully everyone will agree, you seemed like the perfect couple and everything just seemed to make so much sense. What happened?" Sabrina revealed: "There was so much I fell in love with about Steven.
"One of the big things in the pods that really drew me to him was when I said I'd quit my job, how he reacted to that. He said, "I can't wait to support you" when I said I wanted to start my own agency. "But the support wasn't there then.
"We had agreed we were going to split our time between Belfast and London for the first year, so that left us in a position where we were doing long-distance which was not the plan from the word go. "But, the communication was awful, there was no consistency in Steven's behaviour towards me and the relationship." In response, Steven said: "Primarily, it was the long distance.
"We underestimated the added pressure of what the long distance would cause. "We both left our jobs to find love, that's why I fell for Sabrina. Sabrina started her own company, it took off and it was brilliant.
"We just lost our spark. Our communication expectations were very different, we hadn't done long distance like that." The revelation comes as fans previously believed the couple had split prior to the reunion episode airing.
Eagle-eyed fans had noticed how Steven and Sabrina sat apart during the reunion proceedings. One viewer said: "Love them, why were they seating apart in the reunion. Please don’t break my heart you two.
