Oct. 19, Livingston Parish firefighters responded to a house fire in the 36000 block of Nicholas Drive in Walker. Holloway and her daughter were inside during the fire but were able to escape, the release says.
State Fire Marshal deputies investigated the fire and determined it was intentionally set. According to the release, investigators also received tips that the home was in foreclosure, and Holloway had accepted financial assistance from a disaster relief organization following the fire. Investigators confirmed Holloway had filed an insurance claim for the fire damage, and a warrant was obtained for her arrest.
