The forthcoming season of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is said to have been too much for one celebrity, who reportedly quit after just a day due to the show's "tough" demands. Louie Spence, 55 - famed for his role on Pineapple Dance Studios - is speculated to be among the stars lined up for the next instalment of the Channel 4 series. While the official cast list remains under wraps, reports suggest that filming occurred last summer.

Rumours are swirling ahead of the new series premiere that choreographer Louie threw in the towel early because he "didn't realise how tough it would be". Allegedly, he had "barely started" the "gruelling selection process" before he decided to "walk away" and "threw in his armband". "He seemed thrilled to be surrounded by all the hunky instructors, who all came from military backgrounds that required them to have an elite level of fitness," an insider disclosed to the Sun.

However, they added that he found himself "unable to keep up". The insider revealed to the publication: "But he was less enamoured with the regime they had to maintain, with Louie unable to keep up with them physically and mentally. Despite this he left without any bad feeling and was grateful for the opportunity - even though his experience was a brief one", reports the Mirror .

Louie, who is no stranger to reality TV, has appeared in several shows since his rise to fame. Notably, he was a housemate on Celebrity Big Brother in 2013 and was evicted just days before the final. He shared the Big Brother house during the twelfth series with celebrities such as Lauren Harries, Abz Love and winner Charlotte Crosby.

The star, who briefly served as a judge on Dancing on Ice, later competed in the second series of The Jump, a winter sports-focused show. He was eliminated from the week-long series, broadcast in 2015, three days into it. The series was eventually won by The Only Way is Essex's Joey Essex.

More recently, Louie, a professional dancer, participated in Celebs on the Farm. Earlier this year, he featured as a contestant on the second series of Celeb Cooking School, which was won by RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Blu Hydrangea. Currently, Louie is rumoured to be among the celebrities participating in the upcoming series of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, although a release date has yet to be announced.

Other speculated names for the forthcoming series include Love Island stars Chloe Burrows and Tasha Ghouri . Pete Wicks from TOWIE, who is set to compete against Tasha on Strictly Come Dancing later this year, is also rumoured to be part of the show..
