The ‘Now Playing’ hotel promotion includes deals from over 30 premier properties across the city, making it easier than ever to experience the best of LA.

Visitors can enjoy a variety of hotel offers such as 19 free breakfast deals, nearly 30 free parking offers, and a third night free at select hotels. These offers span across the region, including Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, the Westside, and the Valley. Don’t miss this opportunity to make the most of your time in the City of Angels.

According to projections from Tourism Economics, approximately 67% of domestic overnight visitors chose to drive to Los Angeles for their vacation in 2023. This includes both short-haul and long-haul travelers who opted for a road trip. Additionally, data from Longwoods International reveals that 63% of these visitors engaged in an entertainment activity, while 35% participated in a sporting event during their stay in LA.

This surge in visitor activity comes as Los Angeles continues to host a variety of exciting events, openings, and programs throughout the year. “With LA set to host hundreds of sporting events, concerts, and festivals this year and beyond, now is the time to welcome people to Los Angeles. Working with our hotel partners is the perfect way to ensure we help locals and visitors find value and create memories.” Following its annual year-end announcement, LA Tourism revealed that Los Angeles welcomed 49.

1 million visitors in 2023, achieving a remarkable 97 percent recovery of 2019’s record-setting performance. This total included 43.3 million domestic visitors, fully recovering to 2019 levels, and 5.

8 million international visitors, nearly 79 percent of the 2019 figures. Tourism to Los Angeles generated $40.4 billion in total business sales and supported over 530,000 tourism-related jobs for Angelenos.

In light of this success, LA Tourism is expanding the ‘Now Playing’ campaign, coinciding with the rollout of its biannual Dine LA Restaurant Week. The summer program, running from July 12-26, 2024, features over 420 LA establishments, including 50 Michelin-recognized restaurants and nearly 50 hotel-based eateries. This 15-day dining event promotes the city’s vibrant culinary scene with flexible price points for all diners, ranging from $15 to $65 and above for lunch and dinner offerings.
