A single mum from North West London has been scammed out of £18,000 in two separate cons after first being “lured” into “trading” by a dating app user and then signing up for online work to make up for the initial fraud. Earlier this year, Gabriella Kranyik, 46, a personal fashion assistant who lives with her 18-year-old daughter Stella, started looking for ways to make extra money as being a single mum in London , with a net monthly salary of about £2,500, her rent of £1,350 and approximate bills of £600 meant she was “living on the edge” at the end of every month. Then she met someone on the dating app 'happn' and within two weeks of speaking to him, she was “lured” into trading, where she believed her investments had generated 52,406.
