Inspired by a desire to reconnect, one in five (21%) travelers plan trips to visit long-lost relatives, while 74% are open to traveling with extended family to strengthen bonds. Whether rediscovering roots on a road trip (70%) or celebrating special occasions abroad (80%), these journeys prioritize relationships over destinations.
Over half (55%) of holidaymakers now prioritize family travel over solo adventures, demonstrating the growing importance of shared experiences. The rise of fitness tourism is turning travel destinations into arenas for endurance and competition.
