A Moment in Time "I am grateful to be grateful." Lou navigated life with an adventurous, vibrant commitment to friendship. She built support networks at every stage of her life.

A sailor who reached exotic waters, a trailblazer for women in all her entrepreneurial endeavours, passionate for fashion and vibrancy; a treasure who worked in child daycare well into her 80's. ("Where else can you go to work and get hugs?") A single mother and best friend who continually stationed her life close to her children. She was the original 'influencer' of her day - everyday.

Her independence and strength was formidable, to be handled with care. Lou's gratitude for life 'overfloweth'. "I am grateful for my friends, my strength & self-esteem, health, acceptance, unconditional love, sobriety, support, God, and to be humble and accept my memory losses without blame.

" Committed to a full life with adventure, knowledge and good friendships. "The only way to have a friend is to be one." R.

W. Emerson Dementia challenged Lou but never dulled her light, her laughter, or her ability to make friends daily. Lou is now travelling solo leaving behind her treasured family and friends.
