Tourism Growth and Economic Impact Independent research commissioned by the Liverpool City Region Local Visitor Enterprise Partnership (LVEP) for 2023 shows a 21% increase in the region’s tourism value from 2022, bringing the total to £6.25 billion. This growth is driven by a substantial rise in visitor numbers, with more than 60 million people visiting the region in 2023, an increase of 4.
