A Cambridgeshire road is closed following a 'serious' crash today (Thursday, August 29). The A1198 is shut to traffic from Caxton Roundabout to St Ives Road, near Papworth Everard. There is also a closure on Ermine Street South as a result of the incident.

The crash was first reported at around 4.45am. Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "A1198 in both directions closed due to serious accident between the A428 (Caxton Gibbet roundabout) and B1040 St Ives Road.
