A garden centre car park was closed due to a police incident on Saturday morning (December 14). The Van Hage Garden Centre public car park in Eye was closed for about 30 minutes. A Cambridgeshire Police spokesperson said shortly before 9am that the closure was due to concerns for a person in the area.

The garden centre is at the PE1 Retail Park off the Eye Roundabout. The force said the carpark had reopened at around 9.30am.
