Lily, 39, has been in the centre of controversy in recent days as she was slammed by PETA, after she admitted that she returned her pet to an animal shelter when it ate her and her children's passports and visas.

But despite fans and animal lovers being torn over the dividing decision, Lily's dog, Mary, is reportedly doing just fine, according to TMZ. Animal Haven NYC told the publication that the black labrador, who she once shared with David Harbour found their happy happy ending after she returned the pup to the rescue just months after her May, 2021, adoption. Executive Director of Animal Haven, Tiffany Lacey, said it is their policy to take back animals if an adoption doesn't work out.
