Gospel singer Ntokozo Mbambo is honoured to have sung the national anthem at the Springboks vs Ireland game in Durban. On Saturday, the singer stood on the pitch at the Hollywoodbets Kings Park Stadium, and she received rave reviews for her rendition of the anthem just a week after musician KB Motsilanyane wowed viewers. Mbambo took to her Instagram account to share the moment she serenaded the rugby fans.

"What an honour to have sung the South African national anthem for the first time for @bokrugby in my hometown of Durban! It was surreal. Thank you, Father, for the many blessings, amen," wrote Mbambo. Shortly after the game, the Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi, shared his views about the game that they did not win.

"It's been amazing. We honestly could feel the energy of the people; we thank you so much, the people of South Africa. We apologise we couldn't get the win for you, but we could feel you behind us, and we will definitely learn from this and come back again.

" Singer Keabetswe "KB" Motsilanyane's rendition of the national anthem at Loftus Versfeld Stadium last weekend also got rave reviews, with some praising her vocals. "I am grateful for this moment. The messages I am receiving are heartwarming and inspiring.

I'm thankful to @bokrugby for the opportunity and congratulate the champions on their victory. Thank you again. I'm truly honoured," she wrote on her Instagram account.
